Ingredients

½ teaspoon dill weed
¼ cup vegetable oil
1 box (16 ounces) oyster crackers
1 packet (1 ounce) Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix
Optional: ¼ teaspoon lemon pepper or ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

Place crackers in a gallon-size Glad-Lock® Zipper™ Storage Bag. Pour oil over crackers; seal bag and toss to coat.
Add dressing mix and spice; seal bag and toss again until coated. Bake on ungreased baking sheet at 250°F for 15 to 20
minutes or until golden brown.

This year due to lack of time i wasn't able to make it and my daughters brother-in-law was extremely disappointed so i had to promise to make it for new years. I guess i had better plan better next year so as not to disappoint anyone.An easier way!!!I love this recipe although i have never done it the way they put it on here! I learned this recipe about five or six years ago from my mom. You'll need @ packages of oyster crackers, 1 1/4 cup vegetable oil and two packages of hidden valley ranch seasoning mix. Pour all ingredients in a large bowl or ziplock bag, cover and toss them until evenly coated. Let mixture sit for a few hours, (i let mine sit overnight) , until the mixture is dry then you are ready to enjoy!Addictive SnackThese are wonderful little snack crackers. I found that putting the crackers into a large mixing bowl and pouring the Ranch and oil mixture over the crackers and tossing by hand in several additions instead of pouring all into a bag the best way to evenly add the Ranch mix. Yes there is more clean up but the flavor gets distributed so well using this technique. Yummy.Try it on broken pretzels!!!!My grandfather-in-law always made this recipe with broken pretzel pieces. The thicker the pretzel, the better!My daughter's favI use to make these crackers for my daughter when she was a little girl(before you could buy ranch flavored chips and crackers and so on). She is 27 now and still ask for me to make them for her. She loves them.I love these!
