I love dips of all kinds and this is one of the best I have ever had. I love hosting and going to parties and usually take at least 4 different dips with me to share. Everyone loved this one and I made a second one and added cranberries, It was great also.

New Twist New Twist on Chicken Salad
My husband and I love the Chicken Salad with Apples! The Hidden Valley Original Ranch Seasoning is definately the secret ingredient in this recipe. I found that using buttermilk rather than milk really brings out the flavor of the seasoning.

It's good, but I'm not sure which ingredient is to blame for it being a bit too salty for me. It could have been the chicken or the seasoning. I'm going to try it again with fresh chicken breast. (I used leftover chicken the last time.)

Delicious!
I made this a few months ago and it was delicious. I took it to a football game party & everyone dived in. I’d say it was a total hit for it was all gone with no leftovers. Definitely on the top of my go to list it has protein and a perfect amount of crunch. The ranch zest brings it all together for a delicious dish.

I love the ranch mix recipes and this is one of my go to favorites.
I started with this recipe and then added in a few things like crushed walnuts and dried cherries. A little grated cheese and some relish. And it is a new family favorite around here.

Good flavor
I usually use dried cranberries in my chicken salad and just mayonnaise. I loved the ranch dressing flavor but the apples not so much. It was.nice to try something new.

NO apples for me
As a self-proclaimed foodie, I love trying new recipes and seasonings and when I saw this chicken salad with ranch flavoring and apples, I decided to give it a try. I made it twice and used granny smith apples for a more tart tasting salad and then again, with roam apples for a slightly sweeter salad. I think I prefer my ranch chicken salad without the sweet taste of apples.
