    Preheat oven to 400°F. In a large bowl, combine seasoning mix with ground beef and salt. Mix well and form into 8 equally sized meatballs.
  2. 2
    Place meatballs on a baking sheet. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, until cooked through. Warm pizza sauce in microwave or on stovetop. Form sliders by placing 1 meatball on each roll, then top with sauce and cheese.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crazy Good If you like meatball subs you'll love these sliders. You really don't even have to eat them as sliders. Place three on an Italian roll and you have a great tasting sub. Any way you want to eat them is fine, but the HVR adds alot of flavor to the meatballs.

The only thing I do different is use marinara sauce instead of pizza, it really brings out the Italian flavor. Also I melt some butter and rub it on top of the buns and sprinkle with parmesean cheese. Perfecto!
