Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp. softened butter softened butter

  • 10 oz. buttermilk buttermilk
  • 2 bottles Nashville-style hot seasoning Nashville-style hot seasoning
  • 1 bottle canola oil canola oil
  • 1 cup corn starch corn starch
  • 1 cup flour flour
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup melted butter melted butter
  • cup water water
  • 18 dill pickle chips dill pickle chips
  • ½ head green leaf lettuce green leaf lettuce
  • 3 tomatoes (18 slices) tomatoes (18 slices)
  • 1 bottle Hidden Valley® Ranch Dressing Hidden Valley® Ranch Dressing

Instructions

  • Spread butter on the inside top and bottom of KING’S HAWAIIAN® Sweet Pretzel Pre-Sliced Slider Buns and griddle until a light golden brown.
  • Butterfly each chicken breast into 2 thin portions.
  • Divide each portion into 3 equal pieces, so that you have 18 cuts of chicken.
  • Soak chicken in buttermilk for at least 1 hour (up to 4 hours) refrigerated and 3 tbsp. of Nashville-style hot seasoning.
  • Heat oil in a large pot to 360°F.
  • Mix corn starch, flour, panko and 2 tbsp. of Nashville-style hot seasoning.
  • Dredge chicken in dry mixture till well coated, then fry to golden brown.
  • Chicken must reach 165°F internal temperature.
  • Mix melted butter, water, and 6 tbsp. Nashville-style hot seasoning together to make a sauce.
  • Brush fried chicken pieces generously in Nashville-style hot seasoning sauce.
  • Place Nashville Hot Fried Chicken on bottom bun and top with pickle, lettuce, and tomato.
  • Pour 2 oz. of ranch dressing into 6 ramekins.
  • DUNK IT.
