SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS AND ALLERGENS

Do Hidden Valley® dressings contain allergens?

All Hidden Valley® products are labeled in accordance with the FDA food labeling requirements, including the Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act of 2004 (Title II of Public Law 108-282), which requires foods to be labeled that contain the major food allergens: milk products, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and soybeans. For fish, crustacean shellfish, and tree nut ingredients, the exact species will be identified on the label. Refer to the ingredients statement on the back of each Hidden Valley® product to find the details.

Do Hidden Valley® dressings contain gluten?

Most of our products do not contain gluten. Products and ingredients made from grass-related grains containing gluten — notably wheat, rye and barley—will be clearly listed in the ingredient statement on the package label per new FDA guidelines. If the product does not contain wheat, rye, or barley, it probably does not contain gluten. Only products that have been verified to be gluten free will have a “Gluten Free” statement. However, not all products that are gluten free will have this statement while we are in the process of updating our labels. Please always refer to the ingredient statement on package labels or contact us for clarification.

How do you ensure your products are gluten-free?

We have a program in place to support the use of the “Gluten Free” statement. Products listed as “Gluten Free” undergo scheduled testing. All suppliers provide assurance that there are no ingredients that contain or are derived from gluten-containing grains. Our products are manufactured in facilities with stringent allergen control programs to prevent cross contamination.

Do Hidden Valley® dressings contain MSG?

MSG is a flavor-enhancing substance derived from a fermentation process. This is an FDA-approved ingredient. It is specifically named on the label if it is contained. It is not labeled under “Natural Flavors.”

INGREDIENT SUBSTITUTIONS

Can I use low-fat or fat-free mayonnaise instead of full-calorie when making the Hidden Valley® dressing from the Hidden Valley® Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix?

Yes. You can use low-fat mayonnaise, but please keep in mind that altering the recipe with low-fat mayonnaise, low-fat sour cream or other ingredients will slightly change the consistency of the dressing. Another option is to try our specially formulated reduced-calorie and low-fat bottled dressings. Look for them in a store near you.

Can I use low-fat sour cream instead of full-calorie when making the Hidden Valley® dip from the Dry Dips Mix?

Yes. You can use low-fat sour cream, but please keep in mind that altering the recipe with low-fat sour cream or other ingredients will slightly change the consistency of the dip.

Can I use buttermilk instead of milk when making the Hidden Valley® Dressing & Seasoning Mix?

Yes. You can substitute buttermilk in place of milk when making the Hidden Valley® Dressing & Seasoning Mix, but please keep in mind that altering the recipe with buttermilk or other ingredients will slightly change the consistency of the dip.

Can I use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream when making the Hidden Valley® Dip from the Dry Dips Mix?

Yes. You can use yogurt to prepare Hidden Valley® Dip, but please keep in mind that altering the recipe with yogurt or other ingredients will slightly change the consistency of the dip.

Can I use the dip mix for salad dressing and vice versa?

Certainly. It’s all about what texture you’re going for. Use the dip mix if you prefer a thicker dressing, or the pourable dressing as dip if you prefer a smoother, creamier texture.

How do I prepare dressing using the Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix Shaker?

In a bowl, combine 1 cup milk and 1 cup mayonnaise with 3 tablespoons of Hidden Valley® mix. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate. Chill 30 minutes to thicken. Stir before serving. Stays fresh 3 to 4 weeks.

HIDDEN VALLEY AND YOUR FAMILY’S HEALTH

How long is the shelf life for Hidden Valley® Dressing and Dips Mixes and Hidden Valley® Bottled Dressing? Can I use it past the Best By date?

The bottled Hidden Valley® dressing and Hidden Valley® For Everything Topping and Dip will continue to have the best flavor up to four weeks past the flavor date. After this, the vinegar flavor will tend to become stronger as the dressing goes beyond the best flavor date. However, the dressing would still be safe to eat. Refrigerate after opening.

Hidden Valley® Farmhouse Original Dressing and Seasoning Mix, Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Seasoning & Salad Dressing Mix Shaker, and Hidden Valley® Dip Mix are best if used within one year of manufacture. Store prepared dressing in the refrigerator in a covered container and if used as directed, the prepared dressing will stay fresh 3–4 weeks.

Hidden Valley® Salad Crispins will continue to have the best flavor six months to one year. Refrigerate after opening for better flavor.

Hidden Valley® Pasta Salad, when used as directed and prior to opening, will stay fresh for 12 months.

We ship all orders through UPS. Orders placed before 12:00 p.m. EST, Monday–Friday, will ship the same day. Orders placed after 12:00 p.m. EST, will ship the next business day. Orders are delivered within 5–7 business days.

This applies only to orders shipping within the United States. At this time we do not ship internationally.

There are certain times of the year when shipping delays could occur. In November and December, we process an increased number of orders, which may delay shipment.

Returns

We will return or exchange unworn, unwashed merchandise if returned within 30 days of purchase. Refunds are issued in the original form of payment.

Special order merchandise is non-refundable, except in cases of manufacturer defect or incorrect shipments. Please contact customer service for a return shipping label before sending back defective or incorrect merchandise.

What if I am already a hiddenvalley.com member?

Good news. Ranchology® Rewards is yet another benefit of being a hiddenvalley.com member. You’ll be automatically enrolled once you sign in and agree to the new Terms and Conditions.

What if I forget my Ranchology® Rewards user ID or password?

No worries. Your user ID is the email address you entered at registration. Click on the “Forgot password?” link in the log in screen at hiddenvalley.com if you forgot your password, and we’ll help you reset it right away. Easy peasey Ranch pie.

How do I opt out of the Hidden Valley communications that I am receiving?

We don’t know why you’d want to miss out on the benefits of being a member, but we understand you’re busy. So we’ve made unsubscribing easy.

  • 1. Log in.
  • 2. Go to the Message Preferences section on the My Profile page.
  • 3. Uncheck the box next to the opt-in message.

Please note that you cannot opt out of receiving email notifications confirming your Rewards, or reminding you of your password.

Are there any special rules for participation?

Yes. Ranchology® Rewards are only open to legal residents of the 50 United States, 18 years of age or older.

Do Ranchology® Rewards reset every year?

No. Ranchology badges and levels no longer reset every year. Keep earning badges and you could become a G.O.A.T when you reach 100 badges.

Can you give me a refresher on how the program works?

Absolutely! There are a few steps, so here’s a breakdown of how Ranchology® Rewards works:

On your dashboard, you’ll see three different sections:

MY PROGRESS
Here you’ll see which badges you can start earning and keep track of your progress toward leveling up for rewards.

  • My Next Badges: Shows badge icons with descriptions on what they are and how to earn them.
  • • The Level-o-meter shows how many you’ve earned so far.
  • • Select the button on the badge to be directed to complete that action.

MY REWARDS

  • • Every 5 badges = 1 reward, up to 75 badges. Once you earn 75 badges — keep going to 100 to reach G.O.A.T status.
  • • Track your progress toward receiving each reward by looking at the Progress Meter on each reward card.
  • • Rewards for all 4 levels can be viewed by selecting Levels 1, 2, 3 and G.O.A.T.

MY BADGES

  • • Badges you’ve earned you’ll see in color, while badges in gray are yet to be earned.
  • • Click on any badge icon to learn about what it is and how to earn it.
  • • Remember, some badges can be earned more than once!

How can I earn the "Hop Onboard" Badge?

When you first log in to Ranchology® Rewards, you’ll tour through an overview of how the program works. After you reach the final message, you will receive a message about earning the "Hop Onboard" Badge.

You can find this badge in your My Badges tab, and while there you can see what badge you can earn next!

How do I enter the various Sweepstakes?

There are four (4) ways to earn Sweepstakes entries:

  • • Claim Sweepstakes entries as a reward
  • • Promotion participation as a Ranchology® Rewards Member
  • • Earn a Sweepstakes entry for winning a My Community Team Challenge (if applicable)

What are Ranchology® Badges? How do I earn Badges?

Ranchology® Badges are the key to earning Ranch bragging rights, unlocking Rewards, and reaching higher levels in the Ranchology® Rewards Program. You can earn Badges in so many ways including:

  • • Answering poll questions
  • • Viewing, rating and sharing recipes
  • • Rating and reviewing Hidden Valley® products
  • • Interacting within the My Community space
  • • Referring friends & family to Ranchology® Rewards and more!

Click on Badges to learn how you can earn them. Earn 20 Badges to move between Levels 1, 2 and 3. As you progress, you will earn delicious rewards. Keep track of all your badge earning within your Ranchology® Rewards profile.

Is there a limit to the number of Badges I can earn?

Some Badges can only be earned once, but most Badges can be earned multiple times. Keep exploring the program to earn G.O.A.T status at 100 badges. Once you’re a G.O.A.T. — you can continue earning badges.

How do I know which Badges I’ve earned?

You can see which Badges you’ve already earned — as well as those that you’re close to earning — by visiting your Ranchology® Rewards Dashboard.

How do I get Rewards?

Build up your Badges, and you’ll find a lot of delicious Ranchology® Rewards coming your way. Every 5 Badges equals a Reward — up to 75 badges. Keep exploring the program to earn G.O.A.T status at 100 badges to earn a special reward. And the higher you are in levels, the more Rewards you can get.

How will I receive my Reward?

There are four types of Rewards that you may be awarded, and each are received differently:

  • 1. Physical goods will be shipped to you in the mail.
  • 2. Digital coupons can be downloaded from a unique link sent to the email address listed in your account.
  • 3. Digital goodies will be emailed to the email address listed in your account.
  • 4. Sweepstakes entries, eligible for those in Levels 2 and 3, will be awarded digitally.
If I win the Sweepstakes, how will I be notified?

Sweepstakes winners will be contacted via email with details on how they’ll receive their awesome prizes.

When can I expect to receive my Reward?

After confirming acceptance of your Reward, you’ll receive a confirmation email within 48 hours. Rewards that are shipped in the mail will arrive within 8–10 weeks, while digital Reward items that are downloaded or printed can be used upon receiving the confirmation email.

How do Levels work?

Everyone will start at Level 1 upon registration. For every 20 Badges you earn, you’ll move up a Level. As you Level-up you’ll earn more and more ranchy Rewards. Once you’ve reached G.O.A.T. status at 100 badges, we’ll reset your dashboard so that you can keep exploring Ranchology® Rewards.

How do I know what Level I am?

You can check your current Level, as well as your progress, on your Ranchology® Rewards Dashboard.

How long will I stay at each Level? Can my status change?

You can work your way up from Level 1 to G.O.A.T. level at 100 badges. Once you reach G.O.A.T level, we will reset some badges so that you may continue earning badges and rewards. Your status can only go up — so keep exploring Ranchology® Rewards to move through each level. Regardless of your status, once you’ve earned milestone Badges you won’t be able to earn them again. The following badges can only be earned once: Welcome to the Ranch, All About You, Hop Onboard, HVR OG, 5 Years of Flavor, The Big FIVE OH!, and Century Club.
