Buffalo Chicken Dip

Ingredients (6)

  • cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup red hot sauce (or to taste)
  • ½ cup crumbled bleu cheese or your favorite shredded cheese
  • ¼ cup sour cream (optional for added creaminess)

Steps (2)

  • Step 1
    PREHEAT oven to 350°F.

    COMBINE all ingredients and spoon into shallow 1-quart baking dish.
  • Step 2
    BAKE 20 minutes or until mixture is heated through; stir. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired. Serve with crackers, chips, pretzels and/or vegetables.

    Tip: can be made in a crock pot and kept warm when serving.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very creamy Made this again this evening for a reunion tomorrow. The only thing I never do is turn on my oven, since everyone wants me to make this dip in the summer. I just make it the night before in he crockpot. Then warm up again the next day. The first day I make sure everything is melted, and the dip is "hot" enough, Almost always adding something else, like the extra cheese and sour cream.
