Air Fryer Ranch Dill Pickle Chips

Step aside, regular boring potato chips: pickle chips are in, and they’re easy to make right at home. This air fried pickles recipe combines the tang of Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Pickle Flavored Condiment & Dressing with panko crumbs for a crunchy, crave-worthy snack. Is there anything your air fryer can’t do? I guess the dishes. Darn.
Ingredients(7)
dill pickle slices
2 cups
flour
½ cup
panko crumbs
½ cup
2 teaspoons
large egg
1
kosher salt, to taste
Steps(5)
- 1
Drain the pickle chips and dry as well as possible with paper towels.
- 2
Set up a breading station. In a small bowl, mix the flour and ranch seasoning together. In a separate bowl beat the egg. In the last bowl add the panko breadcrumbs; season lightly with salt.
- 3
Dredge the pickles in the flour mixture, shaking off excess. Dip into the egg, then press into the panko crumbs, coating on both sides.
- 4
Grease the air fryer grate with cooking spray. Spread the pickle chips in the basket in an even layer (depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to do this in batches). Lightly spray the tops with more cooking spray.
- 5
Air fry at 400°F for 6–8 minutes. Serve with more ranch, for dipping.
