  • Step 1
    In a large skillet, warm the vegetable oil over medium heat. Sauté peppers, onions and garlic for 5 minutes, or until crisp-tender.
  • Step 2
    Transfer to a shallow baking dish (about 1½ quarts); stir in dressing mix. Top with cheese. Bake in a 400°F oven for 15 minutes. Serve hot, as a side dish to grilled meat or fish.

    For dips, make and enjoy your dip creation. Then, refrigerate within 2 hours or discard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better Than Store Bought I made this last night. These taste better than the ones available at the meat counter at my local grocery store. The only change I made was to add a quarter pound of browned Italian sausage to the mix. This recipe is getting added to our side dish rotation.
