Cheddar Parmesan Ranch Grilled Oysters

    Light grill using Kingsford® Charcoal with Sure Fire Grooves™.
  2. 2
    In a medium bowl, mix together panko, olive oil, lemon juice, seasoning mix, fennel bulb and tops, and bacon until well-combined.
  3. 3
    Drizzle each oyster with ½ teaspoon of dressing and grill over medium coals, shell side down, for about 1½ minutes. Remove oysters from grill; top each with about a teaspoon of remaining dressing, pack with breadcrumb mixture, and sprinkle with cheddar and Parmesan.

    Return oysters to grill and cook for another 5 minutes or until cheese melts and breadcrumbs are lightly browned. Serve warm.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I might just not like oysters... Ok, so these looked amazing and I always love to try something new and different. However, I didn't really like them. I will need to try oysters with a different recipe at some point, because I'm not sure if it was this recipe I didn't like or if I just don't like oysters (hence the middle-of-the-road three-star review). They weren't horrible or anything, but I didn't want to eat more than one of them. Other people who tried them were split 50/50 as to whether they liked them or not, but most of us had little or no experience eating oysters so that doesn't really help either. I recommend only spending the money necessary to make this if you already know for sure that you like oysters!
