  • 1 packet (1 ounce) Hidden Valley® Fiesta Ranch Dips Mix
  • ½ pound ground beef
  • 1 can (16 ounces) refried beans
  • shredded cheddar cheese
  • tortilla chips
  • diced tomato
  • diced avocado
  • sliced green onions


  1. 1. Prepare dips mix according to package directions. Brown ground beef in medium skillet; drain. Stir in beans, prepared dip and sour cream; cook and stir over low heat until bubbly. Spoon mixture into 9-inch pie plate and smooth top. Garnish as desired. Serve with chips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Confusing recipe I made this dip but was very confused by the instructions. The ingredient list has 8 oz sour cream. But the first line of the instructions state to prepare the dip according to the instructions on the package (add 16 oz sour cream) and then add 8 oz sour cream. I went ahead and completed the recipe with a total of 24 oz sour cream, but I don't think that was correct, because my final product looked creamier than what was in the photo. Regardless, it tasted great. I had many complements on it throughout the night, and it fed a lot of people. I will make it again, with varying amounts of sour cream until I find what works best.
