very goodTRY USING Ranch Spicy shaker or the packet of Rancho-Taco-seasoning for a different taste. I used corn & rice cereal & mini reg. bagel chips, also some mixed nuts. used melted unsalted butter, not oil. Then baking it in the oven at 250 degrees for about an hour stirring it once in a while. Baking at a low heat (with a lined large baking sheet with parchment paper) for an extended period of time helps keep everything from burning while it soaks up all that seasoning. = YUM!!

A YEAR ROUND WELL LOVED CLASSIC!!!!As the title says this is an anytime anywhere Fantastic recipe. The recipe is quick and easy and everone loves the HVR Original Ranch Snack Mix. I know kids like it with some M&M's sprinkled in their bowls.

Still not as good as store-boughtThis tasted fine, even good... but you just can't get it to taste as good as store-bought Chex Mix. It's not the flavor so much as it is the texture and greasiness/messiness. Not worth the trouble when you can buy it pre-made for cheaper than buying all the ingredients separately.
