I made this a few times over the summer. I do two things differently. I peel the husk down and pull the corn hair out, then I melt the butter with the Fiesta Ranch packet and slather it on the corns. I pull the husk back up and tie it with a piece of husk on the end. Grill it for 20 minutes (charcoal grill) It is so juicy and flavorful! Never any complaints.

Amazing. Soaked in water and grilled for 25 mins (ish) we actually loved it just basting the butter/ranch seasoning mix without any extra seasoning because it was plenty salty for me.

Love me some corn
I really do love corn but I had never tried it on the grill before. I had always boiled it. This keeps so much more of that fresh flavor and adding the ranch seasoning to the butter is a game changer. Keeping this recipe around.

OVEN ROASTED CORN

Sweeter sweet corn
I watched the video abd decided to add my own spin to it! I microwave our corn in the husk in the microwave 4" an ear. Afterwards I follow same directions with butter and ranch packet but finish them off with a bit of paprika!

Liked was different nice for a dull day pick me up
Another request of my sons as we often use different season to make our corn on the cobb fun. A dinner for summer Idea that was created by son who has autism. He likes us to use a different topping each time we make corn on the cobb. The day we did this was around his graduation and he kept seeing this recipe online and begging we try it with his grad night dinner. My husband and I were tired after all the grad night festivities but agreed I honestly was surprised at the taste my family liked it and will try it again. Only issue had is spice amount each person loves a different level of it. When we do this next time for our family we will use a little less of the seasoning packet but we will do it again soon. Nice refreshing summer treat. Also have done same recipe on the stove top with canned corn.

Oven Roasted Corn
I peeled mine corn and wrapped them in foil . Then roasted them in the oven. They turned out just fine. The butter and ranch seasoning is a nice change.
