  1. 1. Preheat the grill or broiler.
  2. 2. In a large bowl, combine the beef, seasoning mix, onion, and pepper and mix well. If desired, add bread crumbs to meat mixture, too.
  3. 3. With wet hands shape the meat mixture into 6 patties, each about 1-inch thick. Grill the burgers for 5 to 7 minutes per side or until an internal temperature of 165°F is reached and juices run clear.
  4. 4. Serve the burgers topped with the lettuce, tomato and onion.
• For safe meat preparation, reference the USDA website.
• For dips, make and enjoy your dip creation. Then, refrigerate within 2 hours or discard.

Ranch Burgers is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 402.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent but for a few exceptions I used 1 lb ground beef with 1 pkg (1oz) powder packet of HVR dressing with a chopped up medium sized onion and ground up pepper all mixed up together slowly cooked in a skillet. Made 4 burgers and melted 1/2 slice on each burger and they turned out excellent! Flavor was out of this world!! Also, if you poke a small hole in bottom of burger even cheap ground beef won't shrink down too small as long as you don't have a burner too high.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mushy experience Tried the ranch burger recipe and also tried adding to meatloaf both times made the ground beef mushy. Anyone know how to avoid this problem?
