  • Step 1
    Place potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water. Bring to boil, then lower heat to simmer, uncovered for 10–12 minutes or until potatoes fall apart when pierced with fork.
  • Step 2
    Drain potatoes in a colander and return potatoes to the pot. Mash potatoes until smooth.
  • Step 3
    Stir in Ranch seasoning and sour cream. Serve immediately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great side These mashed potatoes taste great. I usually add some cream cheese as well and add some kale that ive cooked in butter. At the end while the potatoes are hot i add a ton of butter. The flavor is delicious and creamy, and makes a delicious side dish.
