Ranch Beer Cheese Dip

shredded cheddar cheese, plus more for garnish
2 cups
cream cheese, softened
2 packages (8 ounces each)
1 packet (1 ounce)
beer
½ to ¾ cup
chopped green onions, to garnish
pretzels or fresh vegetable sticks for serving
