peeled potatoes, cut into 1" pieces* 2 pounds
butter 3 tablespoons
milk ⅓ cup
Place potatoes in a saucepan and cover completely with cold water.
On medium-high heat, bring water to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook potatoes until fork tender (20–30 mins).
Drain off water. Mash potatoes and mix in butter, milk and seasoning.
*Alternative Instant/Pre-made Mashed Potato instructions: Add 1 tsp. of seasoning mixture per 1 cup of prepared mashed potatoes.
