maple syrup ¼ cup
assorted unsalted nuts such as pecans, walnuts , or mixed nuts 1 pound
light brown sugar 2 tablespoons
Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Seasoning, Salad Dressing & Recipe Mix Packet

Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Seasoning, Salad Dressing & Recipe Mix 1 seasoning packet or 3 tbsp of shaker seasoning

Place nuts in a gallon-size Glad-Lock® Zipper™ Storage Bag; add syrup and coat well. Sprinkle brown sugar and dressing mix over nuts. Coat well.

Spread nuts in a single layer on greased baking pan. Bake at 250°F. for 35 minutes. Transfer immediately to large bowl. Cool, stirring to separate.

I was not sure what to do with them, as everyone in my family prefers the salted variety. Then I pulled out a sachet of ranch dip for a blue cheese recipe I have-lo and behold... Rigt there on the side of the sachet was a recipe for ranch roasted nuts! THEY WERE DELICIOUS!!!! They came out sweet, salty, tangy, and oh so crunchy! The prep was uber-easy as well. As a Chef of 20+ years I can safely say this recipe is a total winner! This is definately a new recipe in my arsenal of favorite party foods.
