    Pour the olive oil, seasoning mix, red and black peppers into a gallon-size Glad® Zipper bag. Seal the bag and thoroughly mix the ingredients together until well blended.

    Place all of the crackers into the bag, re-seal, and gently turn the bag over several times to coat the crackers with the spice mixture. Be sure to coat as thoroughly as possible.

    Let the bag sit at room temperature overnight.

    When ready to bake, preheat oven to 250°F. Lay the crackers on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, to seal in the spices and dry slightly. Store in an airtight container.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super easy and fun to make with little ones For being saltine crackers, this is a surprisingly good recipe! I personally loved the added red pepper flakes, but my kids weren’t a fan. I made it since, with my kids, and they enjoyed making it and eating it with the pepper omitted. If using the red pepper flakes, I think you can omit the ground pepper. That is simply a preference for some. I don’t mind if either way; I also don’t think there is much of a difference with or without the ground pepper in addition to the red pepper flakes.
