Meet the Veggie: Watermelon Radish

The watermelon radish grows to be about three inches across, displaying a white outer skin at the top with green shoulders and a pink base that covers a red to magenta inner flesh. This vibrant surprise center is bright enough to cheer up the dreariest of salads. Cook this radish much like you would a turnip - creamed and served as a side dish, sautéed and braised to be served as a vegetable dish, or added to stir-fry dishes.
Don’t worry – this watermelon is seedless!
