Ingredients(7)
crescent roll dough
1 (8 oz.) package
melted butter
¼ cup
2 tbsp
hot dogs
10
edible candy eyes
20
Hidden Valley™ Spooky Ranch for the base, enough to fill a small ramekin
about 2–4 tbsp
Steps(8)
- 1
Unroll the dough and separate at perforations, forming 4 rectangles. Press the diagonal perforations to seal.
- 2
In a small bowl, mix the butter and Ranch Seasoning Mix. Brush evenly over the four rectangles.
- 3
Cut each rectangle into 10 thin strips the long way. Working with one hot dog at a time, wrap four strips around the hot dog like a bandage, making sure the ranch brushed side is touching the hot dogs.
- 4
Place hot dogs on a baking sheet. About an inch from the top of each hot dog, separate the dough to make space for a face area.
- 5
Brush the top of the dough lightly with more melted butter or spray with cooking spray. Bake for about 15 minutes until the dough is golden brown.
- 6
Add edible candy “eyes.”
- 7
Serve hot with the Ranch spiderweb for dipping.
- 8
To make the Ranch spiderweb: Spoon Spooky Ranch into a small ramekin. Add Original Ranch to a small squeeze bottle or a small plastic bag with a small snip in the corner, then pipe a spiral from the center outward, leaving a small border. Using a skewer or toothpick, drag from the center to the edge in a straight line toward you. Wipe the skewer or toothpick clean and repeat 7 more times (or adjust based on ramekin size), cleaning it between each swipe, until the spiderweb pattern forms.
